Job Description Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an Experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to guide LifeTree Lendingclientsthrough eachstep of the mortgage process. In this role, you will collaborate closely with both borrowers and lenders to ensure each loan movessmoothly from application to closing. The job will vary between working full-time in the home office in Mount Pleasant, SC, and working remotely for a limited time, commuting from home in the Charleston area You’ll be responsible for collecting, reviewing, and submitting documentation while maintaining compliance with banking regulations. Process Approx. 50-60 loans per month. We offer competitive compensation and a performance-based bonus plan within a supportive, values-driven work environment. Responsibilities Interview applicants to gather financial information and determine eligibility Assist applicants in selecting the most suitable mortgage option Review and verify loan documentation for accuracy and compliance Submit complete loan files to underwriting Ensure all loans meet federal and state banking regulations Maintain strong communication between all parties to achieve on-time closings Process mortgage applications across LifeTree’s 10 licensed State Qualifications 4+ years of recent mortgage processing experience Proven background in finance or mortgage lending Proficiency in loan origination systems and Microsoft Office (especially Outlook) Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment Demonstrated success partnering with our Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) About Us LifeTree Mortgage is a faith-based company built on Christian values and a strong work ethic.
