Plumber

Commercial PlumberRed Oak is looking for motivated commercial plumbers to use their skills and experience and grow with the company. This person will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing related piping and material as directed by site foreman. All jobs will be new commercial construction, not service repair.Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k)Sick time (accrual)Vacation time (accrual)Weekly pay (direct deposit)Wage based on experience, but in the $16 - $30/hour range.Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day work scheduleAdvancement opportunitiesCertification trainingEmployee referral bonus opportunityEmployee recognitionRequirements:Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade.Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practicesAbility to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings, to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts.Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.Effective oral communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted.Excellent problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurementsInstall, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fitting, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial structures.Cutting, welding, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixturesInspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code complianceMechanical and boiler systems experience (preferred)Ability to run DWV, water, gas.
