Public Health Injury Prevention Project Lead

The Injury Prevention Specialist develops and implements projects that increase safety and reduce injury morbidity and mortality. Priority areas include motor vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian crashes, drowning, falls and poisonings. The role analyzes local data to identify frequency and risk, and advocates for legislative, enforcement, educational, behavioral change and engineering interventions. It coordinates with health care agencies, nonprofits, the media and the public to promote prevention. #J-18808-Ljbffr City-of-New-Orlean
