ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prep steel plates and align jigs to receive plates from prep area. Utilize hand tools and torches to grind, weld, and drill materials for assembly. Keep all shop employees supplied with materials and assist in the manufacturing process. Must be able to take accurate measurements with a tape.
- Use both manual tools and automated devices to properly fit and assemble various materials. Perform quality inspection of materials and assembled parts. Able to operate a forklift to move and place material. Perform daily housekeeping.
- Be able to work in various departments including paint, laydown and assembly.
- Must be able to tolerate ambient air temperatures during all times of the year.
