Product Owner, Technical - AI Investing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Owner, Technical - AI Investing based in United States.

The Product Owner will take ownership of product initiatives at the intersection of investing, financial services, and artificial intelligence.
You will translate user needs and complex financial workflows into clear product direction, priorities, and actionable requirements.
Working closely with engineering, design, data, operations, compliance, and business teams, you will drive products from concept through launch and continuous improvement.
The role is designed for a hands-on builder who can make thoughtful decisions in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment.
You will use data, customer feedback, experimentation, and production insights to guide product decisions and measure meaningful outcomes.
Success will require balancing user experience, speed, business impact, regulatory considerations, and technical complexity.
This is a remote opportunity for candidates based in Indonesia, with English as the primary working language.

Accountabilities:

• Own product areas across investing and related financial services, helping define the direction and evolution of AI-enabled customer experiences.
• Identify and clearly articulate user problems, translating them into product scope, requirements, success metrics, roadmaps, and launch plans.
• Partner closely with engineering and design to define, build, launch, and continuously improve production-ready products.
• Collaborate with data, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business and customer needs.
• Simplify complex financial and investing workflows into intuitive, accessible customer journeys.
• Define and prioritize product backlogs, balancing competing opportunities, technical constraints, customer needs, operational considerations, and business objectives.
• Use metrics, user research, feedback, experiments, and production issues to inform product decisions and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead feature launches and monitor performance after release, using learnings to drive rapid and meaningful iterations.
• Make informed decisions with incomplete information while maintaining a strong focus on measurable outcomes and customer value.
• Communicate product vision, priorities, trade-offs, and progress clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Take ownership of execution and outcomes while maintaining transparency about individual contributions and broader team impact.

Requirements:

• Professional experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, founder, growth/product operator, or in a comparable product leadership role.
• Strong product sense and demonstrated ability to identify meaningful user problems and simplify complex workflows.
• Technical fluency and the ability to work deeply and effectively with engineers and designers throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Experience defining product requirements, roadmaps, priorities, success metrics, and launch strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with metrics, experiments, customer feedback, and post-launch performance data.
• Ability to make sound product decisions despite ambiguity, incomplete information, and rapidly changing priorities.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• High ownership, initiative, and ability to drive execution with limited guidance.
• Ability to balance speed, user experience, business value, compliance, operational complexity, and technical considerations.
• Experience in fintech, investing, insurance, payments, consumer applications, or high-growth technology products is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, challenge assumptions, and continuously improve products based on evidence.
• Strong English communication skills, as English is the primary working language across global teams.
• Candidates must already be based in Indonesia for this market-specific remote opportunity.
