WHAT WILL YOU DO?

This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, unloading, recording, and stocking items received. Performs clerical duties such as filing purchase orders and other inventory documents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Identifies inventoried items with appropriate labeling techniques, decals, or UPC bar codes.
• Assists in setting up pre-inventory sheets.
• Prepares requisitions or other documents for purchasing new stock items.
• Follows FIFO inventory method and set guidelines established by the department.
• Reconciles all discrepancies immediately with management team.
• Forwards all product paperwork to administrative team.
• Pulls, stages, delivers, and completes transfer paperwork to various campus locations.
• Assists with unloading of product at each location.
• Responds quickly and accurately to all product inquiries by food service personnel.
• Counts inventory in stock and posts to inventory record.
• Checks inventory levels to ensure required product is in stock for both regular business and pandemic planning requirements.
• Completes receiving report as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED. A valid Georgia driver's license is required.

Preferred Requirements: Previous Store Clerk experience.

Physical Requirements: Extended standing, walking, ability to bend, stoop, reach and climb ladders. Ability to lift 35 pounds. Ability to work in all temperature conditions. Flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.
