Senior Tax Accountant

Jobot is a full‑service accounting and business advisory firm headquartered in Oakbrook Terrace with additional offices in Chicago and Joliet. Education, integrity, people, care and trust guide how we train staff and serve clients. Position Overview Hybrid work schedule; Salary $80,000–$110,000 per year. Base salary with performance‑based bonus, 401(k) with profit‑sharing, comprehensive benefits, generous PTO, health & wellness time, paid holidays. Responsibilities Engage with clients and staff to drive proactive tax planning. Prepare and review business, fiduciary, and individual tax returns. Manage income‑tax correspondence and build strong client relationships. Train and mentor staff, improving return‑preparation efficiency and growing tax expertise. Analyze complex technical tax issues to guide client decisions. Gain exposure to foreign taxation, sales and use tax, and payroll tax. Qualifications CPA or EA designation required or actively pursuing one. Progressive experience in the tax department of a CPA firm. Strong background in preparing individual and business tax returns.
