ABOUT EAGLEBROOK SCHOOL
Eaglebrook is a junior boarding and day school for boys in grades six, seven, eight, and nine, located in Deerfield, Massachusetts. Founded in 1922, Eaglebrook’s vision is to help each student develop his unique gifts during the important middle school years. Our mission is to meet boys where they are in their development and to encourage them to build self-confidence through success. Eaglebrook offers a rich and diverse curriculum geared toward the learning styles of middle school boys.
The Position
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. Clean and sanitize food prep stations and surfaces. Maintain a sense of urgency and understanding of when tasks must be complete. When necessary aid in all other areas of the dining services. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintains a clean and orderly work station in the kitchen to the standards set by the department.
- Washes dishes, cleans and sanitizes food surfaces, empties trash and cleans the floor after every service.
- Aids in dining hall setup/cleanup.
Qualifications
- One year experience in a high volume food service establishment.
- Knife safety awareness and knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.
- Works well with others and has the ability to follow direction with competence and understanding.
- Displays an attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
- Provides or can obtain a current Servsafe certificate.
- Ability to lift thirty pounds.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
- Ability to Pass a CORI Background Check
