This is a 6 month long, full-time position, requiring 40+ hours of work per week, depending on project requirements. If you have a passion for electronic products and a keen eye for quality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Key Responsibilities:Perform source inspections from external providers of products or services (e.g., conformal coating)Conduct in-process and/or final inspections of critical features, including witness inspectionsCompile and complete final inspection sign-off sheets for inspection packagesVerify that inspection tools and equipment can identify nonconformanceEnsure inspection methodologies align with the intent of technical drawingsReview and validate any justification for omitted inspectionsAudit supplier adherence to inspection plans, if applicableInspect for hardware cleanliness and the absence of foreign object debris (FOD)Verify correct application of safety wire, fastener installation, and compliance with spec requirementsConfirm proper documentation and identification on shipping recordsEnsure product is adequately preserved for further processing and shipmentRequired Qualifications:Understanding of electronic components and electronic assembly processes.Ability to read and interpret work instructions, procedures, technical drawings, schematics, and datasheetsFamiliarity with general quality inspection tools and techniquesMust be willing to undergo a criminal background checkMust be ITAR CompliantPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of electronic assembly processesPrevious experience conducting inspections at supplier sites or in a source inspection capacityCompany DescriptionOver 30 years, SQA Services has been a leading provider of managed supplier quality services, offering audits, assessments, remote surveillance, corrective actions, remediation, inspections, and engineering solutions to manufacturers across all industries.
