Purchasing Representative

Role Description We are seeking a full-time, on-site Purchasing Representative to join our team in North St. Paul, MN. This role is responsible for sourcing and procuring millwork materials, doors, and hardware, as well as managing purchase orders and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. Key responsibilities include maintaining strong supplier relationships, monitoring and managing inventory levels, and collaborating closely with internal team members to support project requirements and deadlines. This position plays a vital role in ensuring materials are ordered accurately, competitively priced, and delivered on schedule. The ideal candidate has experience with millwork products, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates strong attention to detail while managing multiple orders and vendor relationships simultaneously. Qualifications & Key Responsibilities Source and purchase millwork products including doors, trim, hardware, and specialty items Review sales orders for accuracy and issue vendor purchase orders Coordinate with vendors on pricing, availability, and lead times Communicate order updates, delays, and substitutions with sales teams Resolve discrepancies related to orders, shipments, and invoices Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor pricing trends for cost-saving opportunities 2+ years of experience in purchasing, estimating, or inside sales in millwork, lumber, or building materials Strong knowledge of millwork and residential construction High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer service skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Custom Millwork Inc
