Job Overview Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Golden, Colorado. Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Golden, Colorado). Position Details Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care; evaluate health status. Provide health teaching and counseling; provide supportive therapy. Execute delegated medical functions; review and monitor therapy and treatment plans; refer patients as needed. Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines; use resources as needed. Perform other duties as assigned; may float to other departments within scope of competency. May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift. Required Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (single state or compact). ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association (AHA)). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (AHA). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (AHA). Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS). National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Ability to provide nursing care, perform health assessment, provide health teaching and counseling, and support therapy and treatment planning. Ability to perform essential job duties as required. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Previous Registered Nursing experience. Certification appropriate for unit or service.
