Job Description & Requirements Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Golden, Colorado. Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility located in en_US. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, provide health teaching and counseling, and execute therapy and treatment plans to support patient well-being. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to float within scopes of competency and be on-call during scheduled shifts. Job Details Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, Monday through Friday. No set day off; includes a 12-hour call shift every third week. Required Qualifications: - ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree from an accredited school of nursing or higher. - Current RN license in the state of practice. - BLS (AHA) certification. - Minimum of 0 years of experience. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree of Nursing. - Additional certifications relevant to the operating room environment. - Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in an operating room setting. Additional Information: - Ability to perform health assessments, health teaching, and counseling. - Proficiency in treatment plan monitoring, medical functions execution, clinical documentation, and patient referrals. - Willingness to work within the scope of the role and float to other departments as needed.
