Assistant Community Director - Part-time (Assistant Property Manager)

Assistant Community Director - Part-time | Laguna Creek Apartments (Elk Grove, CA) Position Overview Schedule – Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Flexibility to work additional hours may be required. On‑Site Requirement – Physical presence at the location during scheduled hours. Must be able to commute or relocate before starting. Current residents are not eligible. Property – 160‑unit garden‑style apartment community built in 2003. Compensation – Pay Range: $24 to $26 per hour. What We’re Looking For 2+ years of property management experience with at least 1 year as an assistant, or 3+ years of leasing/property management experience within the last 10 years. Experience at ClassA and/or ClassB communities. Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws, landlord‑tenant laws, and ADA laws. Customer service experience. Onesite and/or Knock experience preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. Proficient communication and teamwork skills. Positive outlook and collaborative team approach. Responsibility and pride in work. Fluent in English with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Your Role Connect with prospects via email, phone, and appointments; conduct virtual and/or in‑person unit tours. Assist colleagues in helping residents, building rapport, and fostering a sense of community. Address resident issues and facilitate healthy resident relations. Research and forecast market trends; prepare for upcoming trends and brainstorm new ideas. Support property operations by preparing reports for the Community Director. Organize resident events that meet APM’s quality standards. Manage the leasing and renewal process, handle transactions, maintain accurate records.
