Commercial Equipment Technician (Refrigeration/Cooking)

Commercial Equipment Technician (Refrigeration/Cooking) Centennial, COResponsible for performing repair, maintenance, installation and/or preventative maintenance for commercial cooking or refrigeration-related food service equipment such as refrigerators, ice machines, ovens, ranges and similar equipment. Technicians will be provided with a company van, appropriate inventory to perform service calls and a work cell phone and tablet. Technicians must be comfortable with or willing to learn how to document all work performed on an iPad. Certificates and Licenses : Required licenses include a Valid Driver License and driving record that aligns with our safety standards, and a Refrigeration (EPA) universal license. Preference will be given to technicians with additional certifications such as CFESA Certifications and/or Journeyman Licenses or with training certificates from manufacturers and/or service representatives. Education/Experience : Must be at least 18 years of age. At least three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Communication Skills : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Math Ability : The employee needs the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability : The employee needs the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Technology : To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the internet, smartphones and tablets. Individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook or similar programs.
