Experienced Mental Health Therapist (Onsite/Hybrid)

Clinical Mental Health Therapist Position

Understanding Minds Psychological Services is seeking a small number of experienced clinical therapists to grow our team. This position is ideal for providers who desire a collaborative and supportive environment in which they can focus on providing excellent clinical care. Integrated administrative and leadership teams handle all operational, scheduling, billing, and compliance tasks. Opportunities to specialize, offer clinical supervision, and conduct non-clinical work can be designed collaboratively for those interested, but are not required.

Role and responsibilities include:

• Individual therapy with children, adolescents, and/or adults, couples, or family therapy, depending on provider's clinical interests
• Comprehensive intake and follow-up assessments
• Timely and accurate documentation of sessions
• Stable, reliable, and consistent care to clients in accordance with ethical and professional principles
• Participation at weekly Treatment Team meetings (Tuesdays 12-1pm)
• Functioning as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
• Opportunities to participate in and/or develop additional clinical programming if desired

The ideal candidate has:

• Full licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist) in the state of Missouri
• 5+ years of post-licensure clinical experience
• Desire to maintain a consistent full-time caseload (27+ hours billed weekly)
• Desire to contribute to a collaborative and innovative approach to mental healthcare
• Interest in continued learning and long-term growth as part of a dynamic team
• Cultural competence, social responsibility, and commitment to providing ethical care
• Excellent time management, clinical boundaries, communication, and rapport building skills
• Ability to work a limited number of evening and weekend hours to meet client demand
• Special consideration may be given to candidates with who have interest or experience in the following areas: Child/adolescent therapy, couples and family therapy, ERP treatment for OCD, clinical supervision
