Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Home Health experience preferred, including evaluations, development of home exercise programs, and discharge planning.
• Experience with adult and pediatric patient populations preferred.
• Ability to perform diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests and document objectively.
• Comfort providing patient and family education in the home setting.
• Clinical specialist certification preferred for candidates serving as a clinical resource.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Home Health.
• Assignment Duration: 13 Week travel assignment.
• Standard Hours Per Week: 40.
• Candidate must be able to provide evaluations, develop measurable treatment goals, implement treatment programs, and document patient progress in the home setting.
• May provide guidance and direction to Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students.
