Hotel Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking two experienced and organized Housekeeping Managers to support the daily operations of a hotel Housekeeping Department. These temporary positions will play an important role in coordinating housekeeping assignments, monitoring room readiness, responding to guest and departmental requests, and maintaining effective communication across hotel departments.

• The ideal candidates will have previous hotel housekeeping experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Compensation: $30.00 per hour

• Coordinate daily assignments for Room Attendants and Housekeeping staff to support efficient department operations.
  
  
• Monitor room status, including arrivals, departures, VIP accommodations, and priority or rush rooms.
  
  
• Communicate room readiness, cleaning progress, and inspected room status with the Front Desk.
  
  
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch guest requests and internal departmental inquiries.
  
  
• Track maintenance concerns and coordinate follow-up with the Engineering Department.
  
  
• Maintain accurate housekeeping logs, Lost & Found records, key inventories, and departmental documentation.
  
  
• Assist with employee scheduling, attendance tracking, and general administrative responsibilities.
  
  
• Support Housekeeping Supervisors with guestroom inspections as needed.
  
  
• Maintain communication between Housekeeping, Front Desk, Engineering, and other hotel departments.
  
  
• Assist with daily operational challenges to support guest satisfaction and service standards.

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  
  
• Prior housekeeping supervisory or management experience preferred.
  
  
• Experience working in a unionized hotel environment preferred, but not required.
  
  
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
  
  
• Comfortable using hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  
  
• Experience with Opera Cloud, Synergy, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams preferred.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing operational priorities.
  
  
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
