Location: Fully Remote

Contract: 6 Months (Possible Extension)

We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer with strong experience in Snowflake, SQL, DBT, and Informatica IDMC . Candidates must have at least 6 years of recent, hands-on experience in the Snowflake ecosystem and 8+ years of overall Data Engineering experience .

This role is focused on hands-on data pipeline development, data integration, and data management , not oversight or production support.

Requirements

8+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering.
6+ years of recent, hands-on experience with Snowflake .
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and DBT .
Extensive experience with Informatica IDMC .
Strong experience designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines .
Experience with data modeling, data integration, data warehousing, data quality, master data management, analytics, and data governance.
Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, including:
- SQL Server
- Azure Synapse
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Databricks
- Cosmos DB
- HDInsight
- Power BI
- Microsoft Fabric
Experience with Informatica Cloud technologies such as CIH, DIH, CDGC, MDM, and Data Quality.
Proficiency in SQL and Python ; C# and Java are a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.

Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills are required. The candidate should be able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, work independently, manage multiple priorities, and proactively identify solutions.

Nice to Have:

Snowflake, Informatica, Azure, or DBT certifications.
Professional services or accounting industry experience.
Client-facing or consulting experience.
Experience working in a Managed Services Provider environment.
