Job Summary:
An Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed at a healthcare facility located in Loxahatchee, Florida. This position involves working in a surgical environment, providing perioperative patient care, and supporting various surgical procedures. The role is suitable for experienced OR nurses committed to delivering high standards of patient safety and care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); previous OR experience; candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience; location requirements include being within a reasonable commuting distance to the facility
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The unit typically performs procedures such as laparoscopy, robotic surgery, plastic, neuro, laparotomy, urology, orthopedic, and ENT surgeries. The team includes 7 RNs, 7 Surgical Technologists, 4 Operating Room (OR) Aides, 2 Supply Technicians, and 1 Secretary working across day and night shifts. The environment uses Meditech documentation system and operates with a patient ratio of 1:1.
