Provider Database Coordinator

Provider Database Coordinator Position Summary Provider Database Coordinator supports the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of provider information across databases, systems, and provider directory. Under general supervision, the Provider Database Coordinator works closely with providers, Network Management, and Provider Data Services teams to ensure provider information remains current and accurate. This role is responsible for identifying, researching, and resolving data inconsistencies while helping maintain high-quality provider data that supports both internal operations and member access to care. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and complete provider information across Health Net databases, systems, and provider directories. Review provider data to identify discrepancies, missing information, and inconsistencies. Research and resolve provider data issues in a timely and accurate manner. Collaborate with providers to verify and update demographic, practice, and other provider information. Partner with Network Management and Provider Data Services staff to investigate and resolve data-related issues. Perform data management and quality-control activities to support the integrity of provider records. Review information across multiple systems to identify discrepancies and ensure consistency. Follow established procedures and standards for provider data maintenance and documentation. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external provider contacts regarding data updates and corrections. Support ongoing efforts to improve provider data accuracy, completeness, and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Three years of general data management experience , preferably in an automated claims processing, claims research, or provider maintenance environment. Two years of experience in provider relations, provider contracting, health plan operations, or a healthcare/medical office environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Ability to research issues, identify discrepancies, and determine appropriate resolutions. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with providers and cross-functional teams. Comfortable working with automated databases and multiple information systems. Preferred Qualifications Some college-level coursework. Experience working with health plan, insurance, provider network, or healthcare information systems. Familiarity with provider data maintenance and directory requirements.
