Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU / PCU

Location

Odessa, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level nursing care on a newly opened PCU unit, with anticipated care of ICU-level patients
• Manage and care for Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, PCU, and/or critical care patients
• Float to MS/Tele, PCU, and critical care areas as needed based on census
• Maintain patient ratios of 6:1 for MS/Tele and 2:1 for Critical Care
• Obtain TNCC or TCAR certification within 30 days of start date

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a PCU or ICU setting
• High-level PCU or ICU clinical background required
• Must be available to start no later than November 3rd
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
• Background managing both step-down and critical care patient populations
• Existing TNCC or TCAR certification
