The healthcare provider will support perinatal care across multiple units within a perinatal float pool, rotating among Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and the LDRP unit. This role requires cross‑trained competency in both Labor and Delivery and Postpartum care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Job Details Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift; minimum 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid California state license (active upon submission); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Advanced; Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate; demonstrated competency with both Labor and Delivery and Postpartum; 2 years of combined Labor and Delivery and Postpartum experience; prior travel experience required. Preferred Qualifications: Charting system experience (Epic). Additional Information: Perinatal Float Pool rotation is required each shift, including rotation among Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Hillcrest LDRP; availability to work one additional shift per 2 weeks (total of 7 shifts in the 2-week period) based on unit needs; manager provides a minimum of 2 weeks notice for scheduling changes. Schedule/Attendance Requirements: Weekend coverage may be required; weekend shift expectations are 4 shifts every 4 weeks or every other weekend, based on unit needs. Weekend call may be placed. COVID-19 and Influenza Requirements: COVID-19 vaccine is required with booster; influenza vaccine is required with medical exemptions only. Submission Requirements: RTO of 7 days (screenshot required upon submission) with no RTO during the first 2 weeks; 2 manager references; active license required upon submission.
