Sandblaster PositionOur company is looking for an experienced Sandblaster or Blasting Operator to join our work team. While you do not need to be a journeyman painter/sandblaster to apply, we do expect applicants to have some training with the heavy equipment, grinding tools, and power tools that you use during this process. In addition to operating the blast booth and unloading the cabinet, you may also be asked to help with painting or coating tasks after you have successfully removed the unwanted substances from the surface.Sandblaster Duties and Responsibilities:Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfacesSet up and operate a blast booth or similar equipmentLoad and unload the blast cabinetAssist with painting or coating as neededApply and remove non-skid materials as neededSandblaster Requirements and Qualifications:High school diploma or GED certificateSupplied air/Respirator training certificationPrevious sandblasting experience or trainingExperience working with or removing heavy metals a plusPhysical staminaFlexible scheduleFamiliarity with power tools
