Client Advisor - Luxury Timepieces

Investment Watches is seeking an experienced and relationship-focused Client Advisor to join our growing sales team in Austin.

As a Client Advisor, you will work directly with collectors and clients buying, selling, and trading some of the world's most prestigious watches. This position requires substantial knowledge of luxury watches, including major brands, references, complications, market values, condition, and collectability. Candidates must be able to confidently guide both experienced collectors and first-time buyers through significant transactions.

Success in this position requires more than traditional sales ability and watch knowledge. You must have a special talent for connecting with people, being genuinely liked, and quickly earning their trust. Our business is built on long-term relationships, discretion, responsiveness, and clients feeling confident when making significant purchases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients
• Assist clients with buying, selling, and trading luxury watches
• Provide knowledgeable guidance regarding brands, models, references, complications, condition, provenance, and market value
• Understand each client's collection, preferences, and future purchasing goals
• Respond promptly to inquiries by phone, email, text, and social media
• Source specific watches through our dealer and collector network
• Present watches accurately and confidently to prospective buyers
• Evaluate market opportunities and help clients make informed purchasing and selling decisions
• Follow up consistently with prospective clients and active opportunities
• Maintain accurate client records and sales activity in our systems
• Coordinate with our authentication, logistics, service, and inventory teams
• Represent Investment Watches professionally at showroom appointments, events, and industry gatherings
• Stay current on watch-market pricing, liquidity, new releases, discontinued models, and broader industry developments

Qualifications

• Substantial knowledge of luxury watches is required
• Strong familiarity with leading brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille, Cartier, Omega, and A. Lange & Söhne
• Ability to discuss references, complications, movements, condition, collectability, and market pricing with confidence
• Previous experience in luxury watches, jewelry, or another high-end sales environment is strongly preferred
• A natural ability to connect with people, build rapport, and earn trust
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, dependable, responsive, and attentive to detail
• Comfortable developing new business and building a personal client network
• Able to communicate confidently with collectors and high-net-worth clients
• Strong follow-through and a sense of urgency
• Professional, discreet, and trustworthy
• Collaborative and team-oriented
• Must be able to work from our Austin showroom
