Pasta & Sauté Line CookWe are looking for a part-time cook to support the hot-side of our line.Pasta & Sauté Line Cooks are responsible for preparing pasta, sautéed, and grilled menu items according to Parry's recipes, quality standards, and ticket-time expectations. This role requires excellent communication, strong time management, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional food quality.Success in this position means delivering every plate accurately, consistently, and on time while supporting a clean, organized, and high-performing kitchen.Responsibilities + DutiesPrepare pasta, sautéed, and grilled menu items by following Parry's recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectationsExecute food orders accurately while maintaining company ticket-time standardsUnderstand the taste, appearance, and quality expectations for every menu item prepared on the stationCommunicate proactively with the Leader in the Window and fellow line cooks to ensure guests receive complete orders togetherPrioritize multiple tickets while maintaining composure, organization, and attention to detailLabel, date, rotate, and store all food products according to company standardsMonitor station pars throughout the shift and communicate product needs before they become shortagesMaintain a clean, stocked, and organized workstation throughout the shiftFollow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature standards consistentlySupport overall BOH execution by assisting teammates, completing opening and closing duties, and helping wherever needed during volumeQualifications + SkillsPrevious BOH or line cook experience preferredExperience working a pasta, sauté, or grill station is a plusStrong sense of urgency and ability to multitask during high-volume serviceExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAttention to detail with a commitment to food quality and consistencyAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business requiresAble to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 lbs. as neededReliable, professional, and coachable with a desire to continuously improvePerks + BenefitsFlexible schedulingOngoing training and career growth opportunitiesDiscounted meals (50% off!)401(k) with company matchHealth benefits, including medical, dental, and vision (available to eligible full-time employees)Accrued paid time off (PTO) (available to eligible full-time employees)At Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse, we create memorable dining experiences through Craveably Crafted™ Food & Beer and Uncommon Hospitality.
