You'll work closely with architecture, engineering, platform, and SRE teams throughout the software development lifecycle, providing hands-on design guidance while ensuring solutions meet standards for security, scalability, governance, and operational readiness.

What You'll Do:

• Translate conceptual, logical, and high-level physical architecture into detailed solution designs for AI platform capabilities, including model integration, APIs, access controls, and embedded AI.
• Guide engineering teams through architecture, design, implementation, testing, and deployment while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and Agile practices.
• Develop architecture guidance for model lifecycle integration, telemetry and observability, guardrails, data protection, and AI integration patterns.
• Evaluate solution options, technology trends, risks, and tradeoffs while partnering with enterprise architects, domain experts, platform engineering, and SRE teams.
• Support architecture governance, risk management, security practices, and compliance activities, including threat modeling, vulnerability mitigation, and resolution of architecture issues.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 9 years of experience with multiple programming languages
• Minimum 9 years of experience in software or service engineering and delivery
• Minimum 9 years of experience in developing and integrating applications using similar software architecture principles and patterns
• Minimum 9 years of experience in AI
• Minimum 9 years of experience as a Solution Architecture

• Be knowledgeable in building AI solutions and have exceptional communication skills.
• Experience working in two or more technical roles related to banking technical design
• Experience in delivering technology and enterprise level presentations
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Industry recognized certification in programming languages and cloud technologies
• Experience working in the financial services industry
• Ability to research and modern technology trends related to technology initiatives
• Ability to research, evaluate and articulate multiple approaches to solving technical problems
• Ability to work and communicate with various stakeholders at differing levels of the organization.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
• Travel to Buffalo, NY periodically needed (every 4-6 weeks).
