Account Coordinator

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Account Coordinator to support internal departments and operational workflows. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career in the insurance industry. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support across departments as needed Manage incoming and outgoing mail distribution, filing, and document organization Answer phones and serve as backup reception support when required Schedule meetings, conference rooms, appointments, and business travel Assist with expense reporting and maintain accurate records Maintain inventory of office supplies and coordinate ordering Support department projects (including HR, underwriting, or reinsurance teams) Assist with data entry, file creation, and spreadsheet tracking Provide backup support to administrative staff as needed Handle additional administrative tasks and special projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a proactive and flexible mindset Reliable, punctual, and accountable in completing tasks Comfortable interacting with various levels of management and stakeholders Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Glastonbury, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
