Quality Inspector

Job Title Quality Inspector Job Summary The role focuses on performing inspection duties (Receiving, In‑process, Final, Shipment) in accordance with AS9102, Corrective Actions, and other assigned duties. Key Responsibilities Inspect products and processes to ensure conformance with quality standards and specifications. Use sophisticated tools, instruments, and techniques for inspection assignments. Maintain all controlled document files and test records accurately and timely. Build and maintain excellent working relationships with employees, departments, and suppliers. Comply with AS9100, departmental policies, procedures, and FAA regulations. Ensure inspected items meet all applicable requirements. Perform customer‑specific and AS9102 First Article Inspections; conduct product acceptance inspections per vendor release programs. Verify that the product reflects the latest or appropriate drawing level. Verify that the Certificate of Conformance contains all required information. Support other quality department areas as needed. Candidate Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED; minimum 5 years of manufacturing or quality experience in aerospace (Bachelor preferred). Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. ITAR compliance: must be a U.S. person. Position Criteria Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. In‑depth understanding of AS9102 and other international quality standards. Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred. Attention to detail. Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, mechanical inspection methods, and customer standards. Excellent time management. Ability to self‑manage with minimum supervision. Physical Requirements Requires sitting, using hands, reaching, occasional standing/walking. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Requires near and color vision. Work environment noise level low to quiet. Compensation Salary based on market rate.
