Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Database Analyst for a 12+ month contract position based onsite in Orlando, FL. This role supports the Roadside Toll Systems team by maintaining database infrastructure, creating KPI metrics, building Power BI reports, and managing database migrations and replication.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with strong proficiency in both Oracle PL-SQL and Microsoft Transact-SQL (T-SQL) , along with hands-on experience in database maintenance, alerting, and third-party patching oversight.

Key Responsibilities

KPI & Report Generation: Create, manage, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics; develop Power BI reports and dashboards.
Database Maintenance & Support: Perform database migrations, vendor build deployments, hardware replacements, SQL distributor maintenance, and roadside replication support.
Operations Monitoring: Work with the monitoring operations center to oversee third-party patching, deep-dive data analysis, and multi-platform database support.
Data Architecture & Optimization: Analyze data requirements, database schemas, and application architectures to design, develop, and optimize system performance.
Data Normalization: Gather, analyze, and normalize business data to evaluate credibility and ensure accurate business reporting.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of IT experience as a Database Administrator/Analyst.
Dual Database Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in Oracle PL-SQL and Microsoft SQL (T-SQL) .
Business Intelligence: Hands-on experience developing reports and metrics in Power BI .
Database Operations: Strong background in SQL replication, distributor maintenance, schema design, and data normalization.
Location & Profile: Local to Orlando, FL (onsite requirement) with an active LinkedIn profile.
