Job Title: ER Registered Nurse

License: Current RN license (Indiana or compact)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC


Must-Have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting
- Current Indiana or compact RN license
- BLS certification through AHA required
- ACLS certification through AHA required
- PALS certification required
- ENPC certification required
- TNCC certification required


Description:
The candidate will provide care in the emergency department.
Duties include emergency department triage and prioritization.
The candidate will perform ACLS and PALS as needed.
Emergent life-saving interventions will be conducted for patients of all ages.
Basic life-saving equipment and cardiac monitors will be utilized.
The nursing staff will work a 3 x 12-hour schedule per week.
Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required.
The nurse to patient ratio is 4 patients to 1 nurse.
Dress code is Caribbean Blue.
Orientation will include training specific to the system in use.
Floating to other units or departments is not required.
The unit has 15 beds.
