Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to adult inpatients per physician orders.
- Conduct bedside evaluations, plan and implement therapy addressing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders; monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.
- Address dysphagia management, including airway and swallowing safety, with documentation of outcomes; MBS/FEES proficiency is a plus but not required.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, participate in rounds, and contribute to discharge planning and patient education.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in medical records; ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance across care transitions.
- Adapt therapy based on patient status changes and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.

Requirements
- GA license for Speech-Language Pathologist and CCC-SLP certification
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 15–18 months of recent acute-care SLP experience
- Ability to work in an acute care inpatient setting with adult patients
- Proficiency in or willingness to develop skills for dysphagia management, cognitive-communication, and voice/fluency therapy as applicable
