Embark on an enriching contract opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a North Chicago area school setting. For the upcoming school year spanning August 27, 2026, through June 12, 2027, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to make a measurable impact in both elementary and middle school environments. This position runs Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks daily, totaling 35 hours per week.

In this role, you’ll work directly with two primary caseloads: one at the elementary (K-4) level and one at the middle school (grades 7/8) level, ensuring individualized behavioral support for students.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate is required
• Minimum of two years of school-based experience as an RBT
• Proficiency in implementing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques in a classroom setting
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning and behavioral needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one and group behavioral interventions to students
• Track and document student progress following established protocols
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and behavior analysts
• Support the development and maintenance of a positive and structured learning environment
• Adhere to professional and ethical guidelines in all interactions and documentation
