Tax Terms: W2, 1099 Corp-Corp or 3rd Parties: Yes QA Test Lead San Antonio, TXAbout the QA Test Lead RoleThe Quality Assurance Lead will work with multiple sprint teams and product owners to define key KPI's to monitor and test the quality of the applications. This will include functional/non-functional test planning, developing test scenarios, success/acceptance criteria, monitoring, execution of test scenarios, and analyzing results. This position requires working experience on SQL, Snowflake, Unix, Control-M, DataStage.ResponsibilitiesWork across multiple teams to define and implement end-end testing strategyLead the test assessment, creation of the test strategy, test plan, test schedule, test case development, execution, and fixing for both functional and non-functional testing requirements (i.e. performance, usability, penetration testing, etc.) in Agile.Actively participate in agile release/sprint planning, user story creation, and acceptance criteria, leading to test case development on Snowflake, Data Build tool, Control-MDefine testing stories, acceptance criteria, test bed requirement, success criteria for EPICS, Features and Stories working closely with product owner, solution architect and the sprint teams using JIRA / DevOpsContinuously coach and mentor team to achieve the program goals and release commitmentDirectly engage with development team, business analysts and product owner to understand requirementsEnsure appropriate level of functional, regression, automated, usability, and unit testing is performed on applications to mitigate the risk and ensure a smooth release.Define, track and publish metrics including defects, defect counts, test results, test status, defect root cause analysis, mitigation plan on daily to stakeholdersFrequently communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to team members and managementFacilitate test execution status, defect meetings, manage work assignment and monitoring with global teamsWork with Product and Development teams to identify test requirements and plan testing for features and builds.Drive continuous process improvements to increase the efficiency of the testing by epic/feature.BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related technical discipline6+ years hands-on experience with test automation with Agile and DevOps (CI/CD tools like GitLab, qTest DevOps, JIRA, Jenkins).6+ years of experience in writing complex T-SQL8+ years of experience in working in data warehousing projects specially ELTExperience developing automation scripts and implementing the automation testing using tools such as Cucumber, Selenium with Python, SQLExperience developing test strategy, test plans, test procedures, test dataExperience leading multiple projects and managing multiple teams.Experience in Snowflake – nice to have Keylent, Inc.
