Financial Analyst

Conducts complex financial analysis with minimal supervision and acts as a technical resource for less experienced personnel. Job duties include conducting research, performing analysis, developing financial models, and making recommendations to support management decisions for the effective utilization of the Company's financial assets. Analyzes, prepares, and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, financial trends, and operating forecasts. Provides analysis in financial budgeting and planning and promotes management's understanding of financial data and performance. Performs analysis on various financial reports and maintains historical data. Provides analytical support in capital expenditure and cost variation analysis. Prepares, reviews, and presents financial reports to management or board of directors using various communication methods and settings. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures accuracy of financial information. Provides analysis, reports, and answers to ad-hoc questions to management and internal departments. Maintains and ensures the accuracy of the company's internal financial database. Special assignments or tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Experience: A minimum of three to five years of directly related experience, or eight years of general accounting or finance experience are required. Education Level: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. A Masters Degree or CPA is preferred.

Required Skills: Ability to perform complex financial analysis. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Understanding of SAP and PowerBI. Strong understanding of finance concepts and procedures. Proficient with spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications. Good analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills. Detail oriented. Ability to work independently. Good understanding of financial risk and mitigation. Ability to effectively communicate with others, both in written and verbal formats. Intermediate reading and writing skills. Ability to perform intermediate to advanced mathematical calculations. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility: None. Work Conditions: Office based with up to 10% travel by land and air required. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.
