Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.About the RoleTechnip Energies is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to support major industrial and energy projects. This position will initially be based in our Houston home office, supporting pre-construction planning, estimating, and project coordination activities, with strong potential to transition to an active construction site during project execution.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced project environments and wants exposure to large-scale EPC and industrial construction projects within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial awareness, cost management expertise, and the ability to work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and field leadership to ensure successful project delivery.You will play a critical role in helping manage project financial performance, supporting contract administration, tracking costs, evaluating risks, and driving commercial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, and bills of quantitiesMonitor and control project costs, change orders, and budget variancesSupport subcontractor procurement activities, bid evaluations, and commercial negotiationsReview and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotationsAssist with contract administration and commercial management activitiesDevelop and maintain cost reporting tools, progress tracking, and forecasting modelsSupport project risk analysis and identify potential commercial exposuresCollaborate closely with construction, engineering, procurement, and project controls teamsParticipate in site coordination activities and support field execution when requiredEnsure compliance with company standards, contractual requirements, and project proceduresContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery and cost management processesWhat We're Looking ForWe'd love to hear from you if your background includes:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field preferredEquivalent industry experience will also be consideredMinimum of 3+ years of experience supporting industrial construction projectsExperience within oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, energy, EPC, or large industrial environments strongly preferredStrong understanding of construction contracts, commercial management, and project cost controlsKnowledge of FIDIC or similar contract structures preferredStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in both office and field environmentsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and cost management/reporting toolsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting large-scale EPC or energy infrastructure projectsProfessional certifications such as RICS, AIQS, or equivalent are considered a plusPrior experience transitioning between home office and active construction site environmentsWhy Join Technip Energies?Exposure to large, high-profile industrial and energy projectsOpportunities for long-term career growth and developmentA collaborative and globally connected work environmentCompetitive compensation and benefitsA culture focused on innovation, inclusion, and professional growthThe opportunity to work alongside some of the industry's top engineering and construction professionalsInclusion & Equal OpportunityAt Technip Energies, inclusion is part of who we are.
