NOW HIRING: Head Coach and Personal Trainer for boutique personal training gym in Concord. PT to FT hours, starting at $30/hr and up DOE.

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The ideal match could coach and support the business between 24-40 hours per week. You'll be helping lead our team in sessions and new sales. The goal will be to achieve a healthy studio membership of 130 to 150 members. The perfect match will have superior on-the-floor skills, excellent people skills and will be able to do local grassroots campaigns and community events.

YOU WILL THRIVE AT ALLOY.
You will be an instrumental part of the studio while you drive ongoing membership sales, retention, hiring, team training & development. As the Head Coach, you'll spend up to 30 hours a week conducting small group personal training sessions in our studio. The rest of your hours will be spent on sales, retention and staff training. Further, the Ownership group will be developing more studios in the East Bay area – which could lead to a great opportunity to run your own studio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate small group personal training sessions with great technical coaching and connecting with clients to create a best-in-class training experience
• Develop goals and objectives in order to provide member and employee satisfaction, improve member and employee retention, and increase membership
• Assist the General Manager with community building, local organic marketing, and turning prospects into members
• Other duties as assigned

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

• We prefer that you hold a Nationally Recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, CSCS, ISSA, NCCPT, NCSF, ACE, etc. OR a BA in Kinesiology or Exercise Science)
• Experience as a personal trainer or conducting small group training sessions
• Experience in fitness-related sales
• Excellent communication, time management, organizational and relationship-building skills
• Computer literacy
• Evening and weekends hours are required
• MindBody experience preferred
• Tech savvy - we utilize the latest in fitness technology and programming

Schedule:

• Day shift – IMMEDIATE NEEDS are weeknights (3:45 to 7:30). Also, will have opportunities from 5:45am to Noon. Monday to Friday
• Saturdays 6:30 to Noon – will be required (2 per month)
