The position follows a traditional academic calendar from August 2026 through May 2027, with a consistent workweek of 37.5 hours (8:45 am – 3:45 pm), and flexible caseloads based on your preferences.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia School Psychologist License
• Experience conducting psychological assessments, testing, and diagnostic evaluations
• Proficiency in recommending interventions to promote academic and emotional growth
• Comfortable providing individual and group therapy
• Strong skills in facilitating student identification and placement
• Background in implementing behavior modification strategies
• Excellent communication abilities for engaging with parents, students, and staff
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining detailed records and progress reports

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ academic and emotional needs
• Develop and recommend tailored action plans that support student learning and wellbeing
• Deliver both one-on-one and group therapeutic services
• Collaborate with faculty and families to ensure appropriate student placement
