The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Operates and maintains Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
- Sets up workpieces, electrodes, and fixtures according to blueprints and specifications.
- Monitors EDM processes, adjusting parameters to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machines.
- Inspects finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Interprets engineering drawings, schematics, and manufacturing instructions.
- Maintains accurate records of production, maintenance, and quality control.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience operating Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
- Demonstrated ability to perform precise measurements using various inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Strong understanding of EDM processes, including wire and sinker EDM, and their applications.
