Preferred work time - from 8.00AM to 5.00PM

Responsibilities

• Carry out hands on learning activites and fully engaged with children
• Follow daily schedules and classroom routines
• Implement lesson plans (monthly curriculum materials provided)
• Implementing structure in the classroom and effective behaviour management
• Implement lesson plans (monthly curriculum materials provided)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning space
• Observe and assess children’s development and progress
• Communicate effectively with parents and build strong relationships
• Work positively with other teachers and assist with lunch breaks
• Use iPads to document and update children’s activities
• Perform additional duties as needed

Experience

• 1–2 years of experience working with 3 to 5 year olds required
• 2–3 years of experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and Behaviour principles
• Experience with lesson planning and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use technology (iPads) effectively
• A nurturing, patient, and caring teaching style

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
