**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the MICU!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic Medical Intensive Care Unit team where your skills and compassion will shine! - Enjoy a 3x12-hour day shift schedule from 06:45 - 19:15. - Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:2. - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary support team, including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver exceptional patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Coordinate nursing care based on clinical practice standards. - Collaborate with diverse professional disciplines for effective patient care delivery. - Collect and analyze patient health data to identify problems and expected outcomes. - Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs. - Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as necessary. - Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel in compliance with nursing regulations. - Conduct discharge planning, focusing on education and support for patients and their families. - Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information. - Embrace any additional duties assigned with enthusiasm and professionalism. **Requirements:** - Must possess a valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification prior to submission. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU nursing preferred. - Previous travel experience preferred. **Patient Care Details:** - Focus on adult and geriatric patients. - Daily census of 28 in a 30-bed capacity, ensuring personalized care. - Engage with a range of patient diagnoses and complexities within the MICU. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
