Travel RN – ICU (Intensive Care Unit)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU/CCU setting with a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients using cardiac monitoring equipment, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps
• Assist with and support procedures including intubations and central line placements
• Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and patient care technicians across night shift operations
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care ICU hospital experience (candidates without this will not be considered)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with medical ICU and neurological patient populations
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Collaborative, team-oriented personality with strong communication skills
