Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Handyman to join our team! In this role, you will perform residential and commercial repair, maintenance, and improvement work in the MetroWest region of Massachusetts, as well as Greater Worcester.
You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Significant past experience as a handyman and/or maintenance worker is highly preferred and a positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- General Handyman Tasks: Perform routine property upkeep and minor repairs, including assembling furniture , hanging fixtures and artwork, clearing gutters, patching minor drywall damage, and addressing basic preventative maintenance requests.
- Complex Handyman Tasks: Troubleshoot and resolve advanced mechanical, structural, and carpentry issues, such as repairing misaligned doors and cabinetry , fixing broken trim, adjusting specialized hardware, and reinforcing damaged structural frameworks.
- Larger Scale Remodeling & Finishing: Execute comprehensive space updates and structural finishing, including hanging and finishing full sheets of drywall , installing hardwood or laminate flooring, applying professional-grade interior/exterior painting, and assisting with full room remodeling projects.
Qualifications :
- Positive attitude
- Previous experience as a handyman / general maintenance
- Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
- Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
- Must be qualified to perform at heights above thirty (30) feet with the use of a ladder, lift, or bucket truck boom
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs on a consistent basis
