PBGH is currently seeking a Product Development Intern
The Product Development Intern will learn the following responsibilities:
- Organize and traffic incoming /outgoing development samples.
- Maintain & track key milestone sample dates.
- Help maintain product development cost sheet to ensure that financial goals are being met.
- Assist in the management of sample images needed for Market line books.
- Learn to review product samples for design accuracy, quality & functionality.
- Review & organize product profile sheets.
- Assist in completion of account product knowledge sheets
- Ability to understand development timeline & necessary milestones to achieve end goal.
- Ability to recognize potential cost issues and ways to resolve
- Understand the role of product development and how we work cross-functional with Merchandising & Design
- Ability to resolve design & costing issues during the development process
- Understand how to create a development calendar based on project end goal & necessary steps to meet this targeted date
