Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Day/Night Rotation | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of generally 1:4 or 1:5 on a 36-bed unit
• Independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient experiences and outcomes
• Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety standards and protocols
• Communicate effectively across care teams to support coordinated, high-quality care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• Strong telemetry skills with the ability to independently read and interpret rhythm strips
• Must pass a telemetry competency test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or better
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
