Restaurant Assistant Manager

Job Summary Assist the General Manager in managing all functions of a Papa John’s restaurant to ensure high quality products and service are delivered and the restaurant remains profitable. Responsibilities Manage operations, execute all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices. Contribute to profit goals by using the PROFIT System, accurately managing cash, and assisting with inventory to minimize loss. Manage assets by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized restaurant and complying with safety and security standards. Lead the team during a shift with no supervision, and be responsible for opening or closing the shift. Perform duties of all positions in the restaurant, including pizza delivery. Operate phones, computers, fax machines, and copiers as required. Qualifications Previous restaurant management experience required. High School diploma or GED. Successful and stable employment history. Cash management skills and a sense of urgency to achieve results. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Reliable transportation to and from work.
