Registered Nurse (RN) Rehabilitation

Registered Nurse (RN) - $20,000 sign-on bonus! Shift: Full Time, Night 6:45 pm - 7:15 am Your experience matters. Central Texas Rehabilitation is a 50-bed hospital located in Austin, Texas. As a Registered Nurse, you will help patients recover by providing direct patient care through assessments, nursing interventions, documentation, and interdisciplinary coordination. You will work with a team committed to ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support. How you'll contribute Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide patient and family teaching throughout the rehabilitation stay and prior to discharge. Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Work cooperatively and actively participate with other members of the interdisciplinary team. Qualifications and requirements Education: Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. Licensure: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse. Certifications: CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred; CRRN preferred. Experience: Minimum of one year RN experience required and six months of medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
