Job Details
As a Business Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of complex business litigation matters. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Representing clients in court or before government agencies.
- Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs.
- Conducting extensive legal research and analysis of laws, regulations, and legal articles.
- Negotiating settlements for legal disputes.
- Complying with all legal standards and regulations.
- Performing risk analysis and advising clients on potential legal issues.
- Providing guidance and counsel to clients on business litigation matters.
- Coordinating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business litigation.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
- Proven experience in dispute resolution, arbitration, and mediation.
- Solid understanding of corporate law.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
