Piedmont is committed to building lasting relationships with the customers we serve and fully understanding our customers' needs to provide the best solution for each client.This position is ideal for an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ensuring commercial HVAC systems operate at peak performance.As an HVAC Project and Start-Up Technician, you will play a critical role in bringing new and retrofit HVAC projects online while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systemsPerform equipment start-up, testing, and commissioningWork with Hydronic, Steam, Chilled Water, DX, Forced Air, Heat Pump, VAV, Constant Volume, Exhaust, Heat Recovery, and Sheet Metal Duct SystemsDiagnose and resolve HVAC and mechanical system issuesPerform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipmentVerify proper system operation and performance during start-up activitiesCalculate and apply CFM, BTU, HR, GPM, PSI, and duct sizing requirementsFollow project installation drawings, specifications, and proceduresMaintain accurate project documentation and recordsEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and PPE requirementsMaintain tools, equipment, and materials necessary for project successWork collaboratively with customers, vendors, and fellow team membersPiedmont Service Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
