Eataly is not a chain; each Eataly is different, with its own character and own theme – but all with the same aim... for our guests to: SHOP a selection of high-quality Italian, local and homemade products LEARN through our classes and our team’s product knowledge The Housekeeping Associate provides constant maintenance and ensures good working conditions of multiple 24-hour facilities including all building, restaurant and retail facilities. Functionally reports to the Retail General Manager and Housekeeping Leads. Maintains general cleanliness throughout the store including mopping, sweeping and vacuuming Washes and properly stores all dishes, trays, glassware, utensils, cups and small equipment for the department Checks water temperature during dishwashing operation to ensure proper temperature Stocks shelves, racks and service stations with restaurant supplies: polishes glassware and silverware Removes trash, recycling and compost from receptacles throughout the store and kitchens and brings to appropriate receptacle; cleans, sanitizes and replaces liners in receptacles Performs other duties as required or assigned Previous stocking, dishwashing or housekeeping experience preferred Sense of urgency Job Requirements Open availability during operational hours Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting Ability to work in an environment with wet floors, extreme temperatures and loud noise Compensation : The base rate for this position is $17 per hour Benefits and Perks 401K with match or RRSP Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine and more!
