Junior Manual QA Tester

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in manual software quality assurance and manual test execution.

• Proficiency in SQL for executing backend queries and performing technical data validation.

• Experience with Jira or equivalent enterprise platforms for defect management and lifecycle tracking.

• Experience in test management software such as QMetry or Zephyr for documenting scripts and scenarios.

• Experience with functional, system, integration, and regression testing within the full SDLC.

• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models for testing core business applications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with project stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute manual functional, system, and integration test cases across a complex enterprise application landscape.

• Perform technical backend testing and data integrity validation utilizing complex SQL scripts.

• Architect and maintain comprehensive test scripts, scenarios, and test data within QMetry or Zephyr.

• Manage the defect lifecycle including identification, logging, prioritization, and resolution tracking via Jira.

• Review user stories and technical requirements to establish robust test coverage and traceability matrices.

• Orchestrate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide technical coordination for business stakeholders.

• Conduct thorough regression testing to validate software fixes and ensure the stability of production releases.
